So, how badly will a Lufty kill MPG's over stock? My K came with an original style Lufty but I noticed my mileage was down under 45 mpg. I have a bike that I use for going fast(er) and would rather have the MPG's of a stock K100rs which according to the dreamy tech specs was around 55mpg (dreamy yes).

I've got 2 1100LT's, one with stock, one with a Remus.
My mileage is about the same with either one. I get mid-upper 30's with daily commuting and I can get upwards of mid 40's to 50 when cruising on the highway 55-60mph.

My experience with K75's is riding style makes more difference than the pipe. And I've never seen a K100 come close to 55mpg.

Well, on the taks where I have filed p so far, I haven't been trying to find the redline in top gear and I have been running right around the speedlimits. I will try packing the pipe and see what happens after, and also run some fuel system cleaner (techron) through her.
