Title: how to adjust rear suspension on k75: what is normal?
Post by: superwesman on September 05, 2014, 08:01:14 PM
I want to confirm that the rear suspension on my k75 is adjusted properly. The manual says to set it to "normal" for solo riding, but gives no indication which setting is "normal"

Looking at it, mine appears not to be in the middle setting. Is this set to normal or firm?

Here's a good article about setting your shock's sag: http://www.touratech-usa.com/Adventure/Blog/cAwZHo/How-To-Setting-Suspension-Sag (http://www.touratech-usa.com/Adventure/Blog/cAwZHo/How-To-Setting-Suspension-Sag)

Thanks Tim. First time I've seen this explained with pictures.

FWIW - I think the rear suspension travel spec on K75's is 114mm / 4.5".

That would make the desired ride sag about 1.5".

(Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong)
