Title: speedo act weird

was out on the road in construction zone supposed to be 45 speed limit everyone doing 55 ,I gots the cruise set rpm is steady on tach and speedo is swinging from 40 to 60 as it pleases with no set pattern ,some times its hi some times its low, at first I thought it was the budda  but pacing the wif with cruise set in truck it was obvious sumpthin is fu, cleared the speed zone and got er up to 70 and it was fine the next 100 miles wtf ,have not noticed this in city driving. any thoughts  :dunno alien abduction , karma , bad seafood ???

Try pulling the sensor out the the final drive and wiping it off.

Mine was acting the same the other day. It was after the bike had seen a lot of rain. once it got warmed up and the fog leared the gauges it startted working normally no issues since. would think it could have been the sending unit or the gauges themselves.

day before it did get a hard rain bath for 3 hours straight ,odd though on the ride home after the rain there were no issues

Rain can do some strange sh!t, especially when riding in it... it can mess with your gpi switch/neutral light sometimes until it dries out......
