Title: Replacement Odometer Gears
Post by: Scott_ on June 15, 2014, 09:54:31 AM
As our bikes are getting older and mileage is growing, the odometer drive gears can/will break.

Here's a site with new replacement gears for our ageing inst clusters.

http://www.odometergears.com/products/BMW/R+%26+K+Motorcycles/42 (http://www.odometergears.com/products/BMW/R+%26+K+Motorcycles/42)

Be sure to read the fine details as there are 4 different gear sets available with the gears having different teeth count on them.

Not saying that there can't be more than one vendor out there, but this is at least one of them........

Thanks for posting, those prices look much better than most i've seen.  I think the original gears were made out of compressed applesauce.

Well I will say that it wasn't all me. Inge K reminded me of it with a post, and I thought that it should be in the Lieberry.....
