I've stripped the front brake on my (spares bike) K1100LT: Finally got the 2 halves of the caliper body apart...not easy!
I now need the rubber O ring that seals the fluid channel, for both calipers, but cannot find a part number. I need a pair of the O ring, or even a repair kit, wouldn't do any harm, as long as its cheap! :neener:

Part #23290 at Motobins, £1,50 each.

If it leaks when you put it back together (look for fluid at the seams while you squeeze the lever....) get a piece of plate glass and some fine wet or dry paper. Wet it and run the mating surfaces over it in a figure eight pattern.
I had one that refused to seal till I did this. It seems that just bolting them together will distort them enough that they might need this treatment.

I'll try cleaning up the faces as you suggest, and order the o rings as well!
Thanks guys! :2thumbup:

If you are in the USA, Yoyodyne carries pistons & seals for all sizes of Brembos.

Man thanks for that link Damun.
Last time I needed o-rings I had to get them from Motobins in the UK.
