Hello,
Any suggestions?
I have a Clarion PU-9204A Standard stereo cassette player fitted to an LT that I have. It has had incorrect codes entered into it and appears now to be code locked. I have tried holding down the "ST" button in excess of 10 seconds and also leaving it switched on in excess of 3 hours. Also I have disconnected it completely for about a week and still the last incorrectly code is displayed. I do have the correct code.
Apart from sending it away to a specialist to hopefully unlock the seemingly permanent code lock that is resisting my attempts
Best regards,
David

Hello,
It was suggested that I visit a Saab forum and it paid dividends as it suggested holding the "Band" button down rather than the "ST" button, turning on the ignition and waiting 10-30 seconds which proceeded to clear the code and I was able to enter the correct one.
All working and I haven't got to seek permission from SHMBO to put it in the freezer which was put forward on BMBikes forum as another thing to try.
Best regards,
David

Dave, if you don't already have it, I just scanned and uploaded a pdf of my stock radio manual that came with my LT.

Thanks for that Scott.
I'll save it away for the day I need it!

My local dealer got me the code while I waited. Just needed the serial number off the radio and verified the bike was mine with my insurance card as proof.

You are of course entitled to your opinion. There are many LT & RT owners who would not agree though.

I have a LT and commuting at low speed it's nice but 60mph on the hwy I stick in ear plugs to save my hearing it becomes useless. Honestly I'm not far from buying a Bluetooth and just stream off my iPhone and getting rid of the stereo. Then relocate my fuel and temp gage up to where the speakers are so I can see them better.
