Hi is it possible to use a universal ignition switch on my K100 if yes can some one please help me with witch wire goes where.
By the way ST is de starter function on the switch. hope some one can help me out here thanks :yow :bmwsmile

Looking at the schematic of the stock switch, I'd say 'most likely not'.
The stock switch is a static 3 position, what I mean by that is that there is no "spring loaded start" selection like in your car/truck.
The generic should have; off(static),on(static),start(momentary).
Your stock should be; off(static), park(static), Ign(static).

Dus als ik het oude contactslot loskoppel heb ik een rode , groene , blauw witte en een grijze draad
Red = Batt?
green = IGN?
blue/gray = where does this one go???
gray = ACC ? parking light?
Correct me if im wrong but did i put the wires in the right position or am i going all wrong??????

Red = Batt? OK
green = IGN? OK
blue/gray = From light switch, connect to gray wire.
gray = To tail/park, connect to blue/gray wire.
