Model? Year? Pics?

Greetings from California,
Welcome aboard. This is a great place for fans of the first generation K bikes.
BTW, Just what do you mean "discovered the ugliest BMW ever made"? A classic bike like a Flying Brick is one of the best looking
machines of all time. Maybe you found a "F" or a "G" series BMW?
Now watch, I will get all sorts of grief from owners of "F" and "G" bikes. Maybe, if I am lucky, they won't read this post. LOL
How about some pictures of your "ugly" bike? Your fellow Brickheads like pictures.

Thanks guys ;-)
I have put pics in the ProjeKt forum...
Regarding the aesthetic character of the K75...well... Let's just say it's a successful exemple of 80's particular designs ...

G'day David,
If you're a fan of the Triumph Triple, you'll love the K75's smoothness, and if you have an early model, the whine they make is unmistakable and nothing you'll ever hear from those oil drippers you mentioned. :hehehe

:nono They're not ugly by any stretch of the imagination. Those old horizontally opposed models maybe. I got an 87 K100 at auction that the last owner was in the process of going to a café racer style. Am in the process of cobbling it back together to her former beauty. Leaking gas tank sealed (Thanks for the advice everyone). Lock set that was drilled out of the gas cap issue now resolved with a new cap and lock set ($200). Now it's on to the ignition switch with no key then the nonfunctioning speedo. She's running good though. 60k on it, only 500 mine. Best $650 I've spent in a long time. The old 85 Sportster is gonna gather a little dust this year for once. Special thanks for showing me how to better search the site. It's been a time saver. Later, Mc Kaylah
