Title: Introducing myself from Durham England
Post by: carlmclelland on February 08, 2014, 01:54:51 PM
Hello members, just a quick hello to introduce myself.
I've just picked up a 1985 BMW K100 that's been stood in a garage for a few years. I'm on getting all the replacement bits & bobs at the moment and going through the usual checks.
I just wanted to say this is a cracking site and I'm glad to have found it.
Cheers, Carl McLelland.

Welcome Carl - I used to have a K100 but now after a break for a few years have got a K1100.  My Dad came from Sacriston and I have been to Durham a few times, so I am familiar with that part of the world.  Had a girlfriend that was a Maccam but her family were all rugby nuts and didn't really follow the football all that much!
cheers
Andrew

Hello Carl,

Glad to have you on the forum.  If this is your first K, you're in for a treat.  Solid motorbike that is fairly easy to service and will happily take you anywhere.
