All new to the Brick so any advice on all things fluid for the K100RS would be appreciated. Plus grease advice for the drive shaft splines. Fork oil too.

i use mobil 1 15w-50 in the engine... mobil 1 75w-140 in the gear box... mobil 1 75w-90 in the final drive... honda moly 60 on the splines... honda ss-8 10w in the forks... prestone 50/50 premixed in the radiator... castrol dot 4 in the master cylinders...

+1 on everything. As far as motor oil, it is more important to change it regularly that what you put in it. If it has not been changed for a while, maybe run some Rinsoline or something like that in it for a while. The problem is the sprag clutch in the starter, if it gums up it is a royal pita to fix. Regular changes will keep it happy. FWIW, I've been running 10-40 Pennzoil or Valvoline with a PF53 AC Delco filter for the last 150k miles and the bike seems happy. The first 40k I put pricey stuff in it. And don't forget to lube the little barrel that holds the clutch cable in the clutch lever. If it freezes up the cable will eventually break there.

i replace my fork oil twice a year... engine oil gear box oil final drive oil once per year... had 18,000 on it two weeks ago when lior the tior man changed all the oils... brake fluid and coolant every 2 years...
that 18 thousand mile oil was still gold and slippery on a 100 thousand + power unit...
now... traveling for work and staying in hotels all the time... thats why i change the oil only once per year... if i had a place where i could f with it more often i would use castrol 20w-50 and change it twice a year...
butts that fork oil... that ch1t getts nasty fast... donts forget the fork oil...

So no synthetics oils then....and as she has 136000 on it any issues there

Spline lubing:
GD-570 Moly Paste: 70% molybdenum disulfide ('moly'). The best I've found for spline lube. Clean the splines well of any previous greases and rub this stuff in hard then apply the usual amount. A 2 ounce tub will last you a long time, as a little goes a heluva long way although the 4 ounce is the better buy.
Use protective gloves as this stuff is hard as hell to wash off of skin. Superior.

+1 on the GD moly Paste. I also use their gear oil additive in the transmission and final drive. After adding to fresh, I go for a nice long ride to make sure all the surfaces get bathed in the moly. Adding the GD Moly oil additive this spring. I personally like synthetics better than dino oil as they need to be changed less frequently and seem to hold up under heat and load for a longer period of time.
