Was the electrically adjustable windshield an option for all K's? I can only find parts listed for the 1100, but the fairing that came with my K100LT has the widget. Not critical, just curious. I assume the parts are all common.

The K75RT's had the electric windscreen too.
I see in the K100LT parts fich's that they list the wiring harness, the dash switch and relays for the electric screen, but the don't show the actual motor and other hardware for the adjuster mechanism.
To your question, yes the mechanisms should be the same between all of the K model adjustable screens.

That's what I expected. One of the lift arms on my fairing is cracked, so I was checking replacement price. Not bad, about $40. Now just trying to decide if I want the extra weight and complexity, or if I should just fix the screen in one position and chuck the ballast.

Love my adjustable. My only complaint is I need a little taller. Low speed drop it to get the air hwy raise it to knock down the wind noise and buffeting.

Back in about 1995 I bought the electric windshield kit for my 1985 K100RT sidecar rig. It consisted of the relay an up-down switch the windshield assembly and a new fairing mount. The fairing mount was because the early K fairing was mounted further back and you needed the mount for everything to clear. It wasen't cheap, I think it was about $500 back then. I still have it and the sidecar and it works great.
