Title: K1100 turn cancel Button no workie.....
Post by: KCinSB on October 27, 2013, 10:54:05 AM
It did before,    :dunno2:  but I suspect the contacts in the button are dirty. Just like the ones in the High Beam switch were.  I had found a good tech piece on the Hi/Low switch over on IBMWR. Lotsa little springs and bits to watch out for!  Is there any tech info here on the Turn Signal Cancel Switch? Disassembly / cleaning / cautions, etc ??

This link (http://technik.flyingbrick.de/images/f/f9/61_lenker_rechts.pdf) might be useful....dig out your books from the schooldays, or use google translate.

Uh...here's the first sentence according to Google Translate:

"Important First get a bucket or container. in the
Container then pour in the Armartur.
Jump small parts
you up and you will not then!"

I kid you not.

It actually says:

Important: First get yourself a bucket or container and put the assembly in it. The small parts will leap off the assembly and you'll never find them again!

So -- as a professional translator I don't think much of Google Translate. If you want to know what it says, let me know.
