I was changing out the spark plugs and ran into a couple issues. First one was I did not pay attention to how the wires came off, thinking this would be clearly listed in Clymers. Its not. Then the bike would not start. I moved the wires around then it almost started. I moved them around again and then nothing. I noticed a fuse was blown so I replaced it. The battery was low so I charged it up and now nothing.
I get a headlight flash when I turn the key then there are no lights anywhere. The light flashes in between the two clicks on the igition switch. Its completely dead otherwise. Not sure what to do, or what I may have blown.
First off, does anyone know how the plug wires connect to the coils? So I can at least get that right.

If I put a screwdriver between two wires at the ignition switch and everything lit up. I was able to start it. Not sure why the ignition switch would suddenly go bad when I replaced the plugs but who knows.
Im still trying to figure out which spark plug wires go where... I am getting loud backfiring so I know they are wrong.

Read this (http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/showthread.php?45516-K75-firing-order) thread from BMWMOA about K75 firing order.

thanks!. I was able to get it to work by looking at the wire colors. My first plug needed to go in the middle coil. now it runs awesome. I had to wire a regular switch in place of the ignition key. Works great.
I like the look of it better without the big hunk of rubber on top of the bars. All I have is a hazard switch there so its overkill. Im going to reroute the keyed switch when I find one used. Not sure where yet.
