Title: Are there covering caps for the front brakes?
Post by: Sebsi on September 19, 2013, 02:14:27 PM
Rear brake's got what the fiche calls a covering cap, which you pop off to access the pads. The front brakes lack this cap, but it looks like there's mounting slots for them....also, nothing in the fiche to indicate them.

So do they exist?

I am not familiar with the 1100 brick. Can you use the cap off of the back on the front?

I checked on Bike Bandit for your year and model and it does not show a cover for the front brakes in any of the parts sheets.

The Back brake on a 1100 is a 2 piston. The front brakes are 4 piston. Totally different animal.

Got it. That's logical.
