Soow, I am getting confused. I have a leak in my fork seal and have replaced the seal 3 times now, keeps on happening. One side is perfect(did not replace it) the other one keeps having this problem. I does not have pitting or anything strange, it looks good.
So went to a breaker to buy me some brand spanking new second hand shocks(see what i did there :hehehe ) But at the top of all the shocks he had , they had a small s on the top, mine did not. He told me those were the shocks for a k75, Now i have a frankenbike and presume the shocks might be of a different model(rt perhaps) so I am thinking that when I am ordering my seals at the local dealer he uses my vin and orders the correct seals, however if the forks are not the original forks how do I know which seal to order?

K75 forks were changed mid-1991.
Earlier models has "sport" forks (S) and the later models had "Showa" forks.

so i would have showa forks, so i would need a showa seal, thanks now to find a reason for my leakage (of the seals, mind you)
