This weekend I aim to fix (yet again!) a vacuum leak in the rubber connectors that attach the TBs to the head on my 1985 K100RS. Some say install the connectors dry/ others suggest something like Permatex blue (?). Well, if I go with a gasket maker material, I'll be sure to use a high temp/ gasoline resistant one. The bolts that fix the rubber connector to the head are to be torqued to 4 ft/lbs.? That seems very light. Your ideas/opinions please.
TIA

Any gasket stuff should be flexible. Blue would work. I used the 3-bond stuff.
Torque is 9nm, standard for basically all of the bolts that size. Just get them snug with an allen wrench, as most torque wrenches don't reliably go that low.

Thank you, sir!
