Title: K's don't mind water

Post by: lukeman on May 24, 2011, 02:04:40 PM: I rode from DC to Panama City a few years back on a 1985 BMW K100 with 100,000 miles on it. Not a single problem, put about 10,000 miles on it during the trip. The video is getting onto the ferry to get back to the main land. The lake was extremely high and that area is normally dry. It had a nice layer of algae over the cement which made it that much more fun. Must have been about 50 people watching the gringos to see if we'd make it. At the end you can see where the back end comes around as I showboat and rev the throttle. 8)

Wow, just watched that trailer, looks a fantastic piece of film making, don't seem to be able to buy it this side of the pond though!! :'(
