Title: Steering stabilizer question
Post by: bamaboy on July 16, 2013, 11:37:05 AM
I'm getting down to having all my parts gathered, In doing so, I picked up a used steering stabilizer off eBay, guaranteed to be in good working condition. Having never even fondled one, I once again have to show my ignorance  :dunno2:
When I slide the guide rod through the damper  I feel steady resistance until the last inch or so and then it will just slide to the end. Normal? It has a small "plug" screwed into the body, can I service this or should I return it?
Thanks for your help

well after playing with it some more, I found the harder I manually operate it the stiffer it gets with no let off, so I guess it's okay  :curvy-road
