Title: Tank Bag Question
Post by: Sebsi on July 12, 2013, 01:01:50 AM
Hey all,

Any idea whether a oem tank bag for a K75 or K100 will fit a 93 K1100RS? I've got the strap cleats on my tank.

Thanks,

Blake

I'd say it "may" fit, but not well. I tried one that had the metal "wire" type clamps connected to the bag bottom. It was for the 75's and 100's and the clamps fit under the edge seam of the gas tank.
This type of bag bottom connection doesn't fit well with the 1100's and the design of the side panel cover.
I used it for about a year before I bought the correct design bag for the 1100. I sold it and I think I deleted the sale pics already as I can't find them.....

This is the tank connection for the 1100's, as well as a hook at the front edge of the tank at the steering head.
