Has anyone had any luck repairing the ABS module? Any week internal parts more likely to fail over any others? Any way to test the unit out of the bike? I have a #7 code that points to the ABS module any other causes of the #7 code?
Thanks for any help

Pull the plug off the brain and inspect it for any damage that looks like it was shorted out. If somebody forgets to put the ground back on the block and tries to start the bike it will pull ground through the ABS and fry it.

Sounds promising, at the bottom of the page are details about a change to reading the fault code if you are getting fault #7.
