Well here I go again.
I'm still working on my first complete service of my '94 K1100RS and I finally got to the air filter change. What an over engineered pain in the :yow . I'm replacing the UNI filter with a K&N. Question: Is it possible to eliminate/cap off any of those 3-4 hoses(beside the air inlet) that go into the airbox without effecting the running efficiency(adversely) of the bike :dunno2: Sole purpose is to make subsequent filter changes less complex :hehehe
My apologies if this has been documented before, and if so could you direct/link me to it. This new bike learning curve is quite steep :musicboohoo:

Yea, there is a option to connect 2 of them together and cap the 3rd one. Similar to what has been done with the 1200 when they did away with the oil separator.
I remember seeing a write-up on it, just can't remember where at the moment. Old-timers setting in......... :dunno
