I have a 1995 K75 with the stock handle bar grips. The bike has the stock electric grips. They are no longer soft rubber, kind of uncomfortable on long rides. Can some one recommend replacements or better yet covers.please let me know if the electrics will still be felt with coves.

I have some neoprene/rubber covers for that situation. The heat still makes it through them. Sorry, I don't remember what brand they are. I found them in a local bike supply shop.

Use 2 normal ones from the right side of the non heated grips. Ten bucks each from the dealership. Cut the old ones off carefully. Put the new ones on.

Those thin slip-over sleeves are sometimes marketed under the name "Grip Puppies." The last pair I bought came from my local BMW shop. I believe they are distributed by Tucker Rocky. I've also seen them offered on EBay. I like 'em!

Thanks for the replies.
I ended up using a bicycle inner tube, that I cut to size and installed over the existing grips. They felt good, lessened vibration and the heat still came threw. I'm satisfied for now.
Thanks

I had a set of those grip puppies on my K1200 and didn't really care for them, but they were over some crappy, worn out after market grips so maybe I wasn't getting the best feel from them. I still have them and have debated putting them on my K75.
I ended up replace the grips on my K1200 with stock grips and really liked those. Anybody know if the K1200 grips fit on the K75? Here are the ones I ordered for my K1200: http://beemershop.com/Merchant5/merchant.mvc?Store_Code=BS&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HGRPL (http://beemershop.com/Merchant5/merchant.mvc?Store_Code=BS&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HGRPL)

Interesting idea Bill. Never thought of that!

I would have never imagined that something as dense as the rubber in an inner tube could dampen those vibes.

Just reporting my findings. The inner tube pieces are used on top of the existing grips which add more rubber. More rubber on rubber= less vibration???
