Title: K75 Showa Front Forks Stuck in Yokes
Post by: JAJ on June 10, 2013, 03:15:06 PM
I bought a '93 K75 with the aim of getting my spanners out for the first time in years and seem to have fallen at the first hurdle!

I cant get the forks out of the yokes! Everything stripped away top and bottom pinch bolts removed plenty of WD40 sprayed. Also a good twist by protecting the stancion with plastic pipe and clamping it as tight as i dare with an U bolt.

A good google suggests that I am the only person ever ever to have this problem and that the things should just fall out.

Any suggestions muchly appreciated!

This guy has a step by step you tube removal but I couldn't find it. You might want to give it a try.

Or run: BMW Motorcyles Chris Harris, on you tube.
