Title: Bag Latch Rivets
Post by: skidmore on May 23, 2013, 11:25:20 AM
Give me a well deserved scolding if I am repeating an old thread. (I searched but didn't find specifics to my situation)

My bags re Integral Type 3s. On both bags, the latch that locks onto the Z-rail is held by one rivet. Is it possible to get in there with a rivet gun and pop in rivets for those missing?

Any and all comments/insight is welcomed.

I wondered what sort of feedback I would get regarding the screw/nut option. Does the hardware protruding internally cause any problem with regard to packing/unpacking gear as far as snags and such goes?
