Title: Water Hoses Need Replacing?
Post by: TimTyler on April 17, 2013, 10:13:31 PM
Should water hoses be replaced as preventative maintenance, or only when they fail?

I'd ask "how old are they".
If they are still original, I'd be replacing them.
I replaced all of the rubber bits that I could on the '95, coolant, fuel, brake lines, TB boots, o-rings, etc..... 2 years ago cause they were showing their age.

All my coolant hoses are original, I'd replace them if the showed cracks but they don't.  These things seem to last forever.  Fuel lines and that crankcase hose are a different story.
