Title: I keep seeing "if equiped with Cataylist" How do you tell?

Looking through both the Shop manual and the owners manual and I keep seeing "if equiped with Cataylist". How do you tell?

On a automobile it clearly says next to the emission and tune up sticker under the hood. Looking at the sticker under the seat pan I don't see it. Were the US models not equipped or is it a Cali model that got them?

I'm sure that someone can/will correct me if I'm wrong here but I believe that all U.S. versions were equipped with the catalyst.

I'm not sure if it was an option in the EURO market or not.
