Title: poor price K100LT ?
Post by: grant71 on April 11, 2013, 05:58:10 PM
today was a beautiful autumn day in Capetown. i had to get a quote frm the Honda people. when i arrived at their premises i espied an elegant gent standing next to a very well kept K100LT with 97 k kms on the clock. when hesaw me admiring his ride he immediately asked whether id like to buy the bike for R20 k ( about $2220 US ) . I  declined and he told me that the Honda people only offered R17k on a trade in on a Honda 850. poor resale value on such a beautiful BMW I reckon. The elegant gent was 71. fit and tanned. im 72 not as fit. he he. Greetings Grant

on gumtree ive seen asking prices rangeing from R12K to R35K.havent seen the quality of bike. i paid R20k for mt K100rs. only 56k kms at the time. good nick with 2 genuine BMW tragkorbs and a new top box. the bike also had 2 small compressed air canisters for punctures. divide by 9 toget $ value
