Title: Hose clamp source?
Post by: WayneDW on March 10, 2013, 06:35:13 PM
Today I took the "bushings" (I would call them air ducts) off the top of the throttle bodies on my K75 while I wait for new ones to be delivered.  I cut the one-time-use clamps and plan on using standard hose clamps upon installation.  The problem is that all the clamps that I find are 1/2" wide but the recesses in the bushings for the clamps are only 1/4" wide.
Do I need to find a source for such a clamp or do I just ignore the difference and clamp em down good and tight?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Check Ebay or Suzuki dealerships for 48mm Suzuki band clamp  part number 09402-48208 for TB->bushings and bushings->air plenum.  I bought a quantity from a Florida Suzuki dealer for $4.78ea last year. They are black which is nice.

Perfect,
I agree, black clamps will be nice.
Thanks so much to each of you.
