Just got my Remus back from being ceramic coated.  Very cool.

I finally timed it perfectly, wearing out both tires at the same time, and at the end of the riding season.  Pulled them off, and the front discs, and primed and painted metalic silver.

Here is the primer.

Still to come:
Dropped off my FD for new seals, bearings, etc.  Once that is done the FD, swing arm, side plates, center stand, side stand will get a coat of paint.
Drilling out the one exhaust stud that broke off when I pulled the stock (busted) exhaust a few years back.  Plan to lay the bike on its side while I have the fairing off, so I can get access. Oddly enough the Remus is strong enough that one stud was enough to seal the pipe - still bugs me however, and needs to be fixed.
New Steering head bearings.
Various plastic and rubber bits.

Need to be back on the road for mid april.

Where are the wheels painted Metallic Silver?  :dunno2:

I am starting my own painting project.
Did you spray your own, and if so what did you use?

Here you go.

Mrs Crashbar was out of town a few weeks, so I had the opportunity to set up for painting in the kitchen. Rattlecan Rustoleum.   I gunked them, sanded, 3 coats of primer with 400 paper between, 3 coats of silver with 400 then 600, three coats of clear.  Pretty decent looking, go light or it runs.  Kitchen almost didn't stink by the time she got back.
