OK this is a weird request. Hopefully you'll understand what I'm shooting for here in a minute. My 85 K100 is affectionately called 'The Purple Dragon'. The reason is really obvious when you look at the pictures:

The bike has stock silver paint all in very good shape. It also has this really nice....custom Purple Dragon :yow painted on both sides. It covers the tank, the sidecovers, and the radiator guards. I have decided to paint my bike. I'm going to be doing a flat matte red with pinstripes. I've pinstriped a couple of my old hot rods, and it's been awhile, so I'm going to do that to my K100. However, it kills me to ruin such nice custom paint. So, I figured I'd put it up for trade and get a different set to paint, and maybe somebody will be really into my custom painted Purple D and be happy to rock it on their K. Anybody want to trade straight up? I'd need gas tank, sidecovers, and radiator guards. I don't care what color, as long as they are all in good shape.
My tank is in great shape. No dents or dings. The sidecovers are in nice shape. Both have some cracks on the inside where the flange is attached for sliding over the metal mounting pin. The radiator guard assembly is in nice shape overall. The upper right screw that secures the pieces together is cracked, but stable. I can provide pictures of this if you're interested.
So, let me know!
