Title: K100 fuel system maintenance
Post by: Puccini on January 17, 2013, 09:33:23 PM
I was lucky enough to get an 85 K100RT  with 18Kmi for a really good price.
It had recent work done on it like fuel pump, lubes, and is in very nice running condition.
Then I had a fuel line rupture from age and I want to go over the fuel system.

Aside from Fuel Lines and vacuum hose, what else should I consider doing to the fuel system?

I'd replace the fuel filter - but you probably figured that out.

And the crank case breather hose. Part 11151460480.

On an 85 with only 18K  :2thumbup: it's likely that at some point in it's life it has sat for a while and that some varnish has built up in the injectors.  I'd send them to www.mrinjector.us (http://www.mrinjector.us) if I were you.
