needing new seat hardware as my originals are all bent and what not.
-
Might have a complete set. Need the latch pin too or just the hinges?
-
FYI: They are different on 85 and earlier bikes vs. 86+ bikes. (And different for K1100s too.)
-
well duck I've got a K1100 rear cowl that im trading my old 85 rear cowl out for, So would I need the 85 hinge and hardware or the K1100 version? Im switching out my rear cowl and seat for a K11 cowl and a corbin.

If you're going with a K11 tail cowl then you'll be using a seat with an 86+ seat pan so you'll want 86+ hardware. Be aware that K1100 seat pans dip down into the frame under the rider and are not compatible with the under seat tool box - but can be used with the low seat version of the L-Jetronic holder.
The newer K1100 seat pans also need the newer (more expensive) hinges with rubber in them. (Although alternately you can use older hinges with a 1/2" spacer.)

But the seat pan will be the Corbin canyon dual sport So will I need the 86+ hinges and my toolbox or the lower model. and if needed do you have any of what I need just laying around? haha
-
You'll be fine with the Corbin, 86+ hinges and normal toolbox. :2thumbup:
Sorry, can't help.

Well I already have a laundry list of parts to buy from microfiche, whats a few more pennys eh?

The seat hardware I have is from a K75RT. It may be the same as a K1100 but you'd need to check.
