Title: Just bought a 1992 K75rt and have questions
Post by: Hadyn on December 07, 2012, 07:27:38 PM
Hi Guys

I have to say what a difference coming from a Honda sabre.
I just bought the K75 rt it has 90,000 miles on it and then some because it stopped reading the miles. The lower fairings are off and the last owner made a new shield for, it not a bad job. but he gave me all of the lower fairings and pockets fr the uppers and lots of bits some damaged also a newer undamaged upper fairing.
My question is i would like to make this a Naked K75 because replacing some of the fairings and parts to the body looks like it could get expensive. I have looked at some of the naked forums, but if i were to put a regular head light on the front would it be a major problem with wiring.

Thanks, Hadyn
P.S  I love the bike

No problem nakedizing it and putting a different headlight on it.

Here's a solution for the headlight: A "naked" headlight option (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,1514.0.html)

And you should give serious consideration to: Headlight Relays (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=268.0)

I saw your other post with pics.  Good for you for bringing it back to life.  :2thumbup: It will be worth it.  :mbird
