I decided to put together a DIY throttle body synchronizer and it turned out well. I wanted to post a few pictures in case anyone out there might be considering doing the same. I used the following:
18' 5/16" OD 3/16" ID tubing (~ $6 - ACE hardware)
1' 1/4" OD .170" ID tubing ($.29 - ACE hardware)
3 vacuum line restrictors ($2.50 each Autozone)
copper 3-port adapter for air compressor ($6 - Harbor Freight)
1 copper nipple adapter for above ($1.50 Harbor Freight)
T connect and 3 in line connectors ($2)
A few ounces of automatic transmission fluid
11 zip ties (100 for $1.99 Harbor Freight)
I tried it prior to finding the vacuum line restrictors and it worked, however the levels bounced too much and the reading was spurious. After adding the restrictors the levels stayed very still and the device appeared to work properly. The bike does indeed run better.
It is mounted on a piece of particle board and the horizontal lines are spaced 1/2" apart. I was able to steady the columns almost exactly equal to each other.

post script
I did the adjustment with a T keeping the fuel pressure regulator line connected. I was going to repeat it with that line hanging or plugged, however it was getting dark and supposedly there is little to no difference. The haynes manual I have recommends doing the measurement with the fuel regulator hose connected; so I felt that was good enough.

Thanks Johnny. I get that it will have 4 tubes....just wondering about the t-configuration, etc.
