Title: What are these parts?

When I first got my K, I cleaned out the crap from under the seat pan that the p.o. left behind. Can anybody identify these before I throw them out?

The piece on the far right looks like the seat holder-upper (prop). the white thing to the left of that is a mystery, to the left of that appears to be a master cylinder piston, the two brackets don't look familiar to me...

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Regarding those two pieces on the left, only one was attached on the bike until i removed it. I met a person who was knowledgeable on bmws and even he didn't know what this part was for. He thought maybe it could have been a part to a side car, but wasn't sure. The pic shows where it was attached...

The white thing is the adapoter from a co2 inflation kit. Could the bits on the left have been used to mount the side panels - compensating for a broken lug or something?

I was cleaning my workbench about 3 weeks ago and found one of those white things and I knew it was BMW but it has been bugging me since as to what it is and now I know.
The flat thingies that go where the circle is may be something to do with rear crash bars as that is where they attach.
I bet Inge will know if they are BMW or add ons.

Sorry, no idea about those brackets...but I do agree about the conclusion on the other parts.

BTW. Your injection ECU is mounted the wrong way around, now the rubber feets don`t absorb
vibrations.....and I would guess that multi connector isn`t that fond of being so close to the
coolant expansion tank (if the bike much used in slow moving traffic......)

You must have sharp eyes. I thought it was on the way it should be, although I did notice a little awkwardness with the ecu housing. A p.o. issue. I attached some clearer pics. Can you point out exactly what you're referring to? A pic maybe?

The plug with all the pins should go to the left side of the bike. As you put it into the compartment you will see 2 slots on the bottom of the plastic where the 2 rubber grommets fit and there should be a pin to go through the other end and hold the right side in place.

I used to own a boxer that had a power outlet back by the seat. It was mounted with a bracket that looked like those. Not logical to have a mount there without an outlet though. Just a thought.
