Title: Dreaming About ABS

I was just thinking, I replaced my battery last month, so do I need to do anything with my ABS system? Or did I just dream up extra work for myself?

IF your flashing ABS light goes off when you ride off then there is nothing to do.

Read out fault codes, and eventually try a reset.
