Title: Is K75 non-ABS rear disk compatible with K1100 final drive?
Post by: rbm on September 25, 2012, 08:58:50 PM
Hi, I'm in the process of swapping a K1100 paralever driveline into my '87 K75.  The K75 has a monolever driveline with a non-ABS rear disk brake.  The K1100 final drive I have available to me is not equiped with the K1100 rear disk.  Will the K75 rear disk bolt up to the K1100 final drive without issue?  Or must I use a K1100 rear disk?  BTW, the K75 rear disk has the ABS ring yet no ABS brake components are fitted to the bike (if that makes a difference to the answer).  TIA.

Same disc (aside from 94+ K1100 ones being perforated.) The only other difference is the ABS ring.  It'll bolt right up.
