Title: Got My K1100lt back today
Post by: captrusty on September 23, 2012, 04:38:28 PM
Hi guys, I sold my lt a few months ago took most of the cash up front and held the note on the rest for what I thought was a good guy.....anyway got her back today plus two boxes, looks like during a barback install the lt dash didnt quite work so dash wires are all cut front brake line to from the brake lever cut and partly missing, so far thats what I have noticed. ok so heres my questions : can the switches be moved up to the dash where the blanks are ? will they just snap in ? and can I just splice wire between the switches and run them up to the new position? the flasher switch is missing so can I just tape the wires off and run with out it with no problems? I have already read the brake bleeding info so that shouldnt be a problem ( i hope) anyway thanks for any input And I am glad to have her back I really wanta get her going for some fall New England riding

Same switches above and below so yes, they'll pop right into the upper holes.

All the flasher switch does is send a ground to the flasher relay.  You might want to consider pulling the tank back and disconnecting the connector if you'e not going to replace the switch.
