Title: New Poster
Post by: Howard64180 on August 18, 2012, 02:27:42 PM
Hi, I recently bought a 1994 K1100RS with 58k, which I've been gradually improving/repairing.  I've found loads of useful information on this site and whenever I get cheesed off with all the work this bike has needed/needs, here is a source of inspiration.  One of the big jobs that remains to do is replacing the clutch seal etc - that will be fun in the small working space I have and it will wait until the weather gets cooler, as the leak is not too bad as yet.  I have a spare rear drive to replace at the same time, as mine has a tiny amount of play when cold - but no noise and no metal flakes in the oil.  I usually change my bikes frequently but I think this one is here to stay.  Mind you, there is a K1200RS on Ebay, 27,000 miles and he's just reduced the price to £2000.00 - the temptation  :bmwsmile
