Title: Oil pressure light not working - K1100
Post by: lhead on August 05, 2012, 09:28:57 AM
New to K bikes. I'm assuming the light is supposed to illuminate with key on, go out after starting (assuming adequate OP that is). I know I have pressure because I started the bike after an oil/filter change yesterday and could hear the difference in the engine when pressure built up.

Most likely a burnt out bulb in the instrument cluster or a bad sending unit?

Thanks,

Charlie

Ground the connector at the sensor, if your light shows up...you need a new sensor.
