Title: K100rs4v
Post by: Fossil on August 04, 2012, 05:46:07 PM
Just came back from short ride after some amateur repair work. It went pretty well but it has some flat spots in the rpm range. If I baby the throttle it will accelerate nicely and the next time it won't. I don't hear the 'click' at the tps but hesitate to screw with it. Could that be it?

I doubt it would be caused by the TPS but sounds like a leak in the inlet tract. Check in the Lieberry I am sure Duck has a thread about testing for inlet leaks using a propane torch.  Unlit of course.

You won`t hear a click on a Motronic euqipped bike like yours, as two pot. meters is used in the TPS.
Jetronic euqipped bikes (2V) have two switches in the TPS, on these ones you should hear a click.

Adjusting the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) on a 4V K bike (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,1521.0.html)
