That looked like fun.
May give it a try one day if we make it out that far west.
Thanks for the Virtual Trip.

How in the world do you keep your bike so white?
Great trip, thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for that I almost feel like I was there.

Bill - We usually wipe down the bike every evening when we stop for the night. Lots of moisture in the air on this trip, very easy to wipe the bugs off. But something I forgot to put in my observations at the end - was how few bugs there were on the ride down the coast - NONE !! I had one bug hit my helmet the entire drip down the coast, that was a real nice surprise.
Rick G - thanks for the comment, I try and make my blog so that the reader has that feeling, glad you enjoyed riding with us!

Yes, that's an added bonus of riding the coast - bugs don't breed in salt water.

Thanks Crapdealerbob, what an incredible Journey. I now understand the respect and fascination with that stretch of road thanks to yours and Donna's camera work. The part where you entered San Fran brought back memories of my years there and my trips south down HWY 1. Very inspiring. Can't wait to make the same trip myself one day.

When you make it out this way, give us a shout, maybe we can meet for coffee or dinner. Thanks for reading...
