Title: Diamond Gusset Defender Motorcycle Jean
Post by: frankenduck on August 03, 2012, 01:48:38 PM
I must like these because my first pair is getting a little worn so I just received my second pair of them.

No, they don't provide anywhere near the protection that my Motoport pants do but I tend to wear them on warmer days since they're cooler and easier to get on and off. (And I don't intend to ever test their crashworthiness.)

Nice features:

1 - You can order them by the inch for the waist and inseam and they come in long sizes. (I usually wear 34" long Levis but I get these in a 35" inseam so they don't climb up my boot when riding the RS.

2 - They have Velco'd straps at the ankles to help keep them from riding up your boots.

3 - The "Diamond Gusset" is a special crotch cut so that "the boys" are more comfortable when riding.

4 - Slash cell phone pocket with Velco'd top on the left thigh.

5 - D-ring above the left front pocket to clip your keys to.

6 - Unlike Levis, the change pocket is on the left side to make paying tolls a little more convenient.

7 - Clean cut. (Not baggy and dorky looking like the Draggin' Jeans I used to wear.)

8 - Made in the good ole U. S. of A.  :usa2:

I've been eying the Kevlar cargo pants and jeans that Competition Accessories sells.  They are competitively priced, have knee armor and lots of Kevlar in all the right places.  Anyone here have personal experience wearing either one of those?

Some nice features on those jeans. I currently wear jeans made from 15oz denim. Take 'em off and you can stand them in the corner.
