I've started taking the interstate to work so I can sleep in later (Yeah Yeah I know, but back off it's sleep!). I want to try out some bar end weights to lessen that buzz around 5K. I have factory heated grips, and at the moment those blocky square BMW grips and the bike has been converted to C bars by not me.
Since I'm a little slow on the uptake or at least at making the search option find what I want. What do I need to make this happen? I'm certain new grips, but can I use the factory heaters ( assuming I don't destroy them removing the old grips?) Is there anything special about the bars, or common pitfalls?
your help greatly appreciated.

A K75 shouldn't have any buzz at any RPMs.
Things to do/check:
New spark plugs. (Autolite 4163 or NGK D7EA if you're on a budget.)
Check that the throttle body boots aren't leaking: http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,624.0.html (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,624.0.html)
Get your FI's serviced: http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,1064.0.html (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,1064.0.html)
And once all of that is done, synch the throttle bodies: http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,364.0.html (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,364.0.html)
Adding bar end weights just masks a symptom. You're much better off curing the problem(s).
