Harder to tell in pictures than it is in person but it seems only the outer portion of the clutch disk is contacting the pressure plates. Anyone seen anything like this before? 14k miles on this disk:

Still battling transmission/clutch misalignment :(

Sure have seen it. My K1100 had exactly that problem, the pressure and fixed plate had warped so that they were only contacting on the very outside of the clutch plate about 3/16in. I managed to find one good fixed plat in my stash but had to machine the pressure plate which was a very time consuming task and not worth doing. My advise is just buy a new set.

Did you get any weird symptoms from it, or did you just see it during regular maintenance?
-
The clutch was slipping real bad but only after I renewed the plate and of course it didnt match the others, the old one had worn to fit.
-
Never got any any slipping issues myself but warped pressure plates were part of my misalignment theory so they're already on order. Should be pulling the intermediate housing again tonight or tomorrow to check out the alignment dowels so we'll see where to go from there.

Saw that on my K11, had slipping clutch and plate was worn below minimum at the thickest point with about 1.5mm difference in thickness between inside and outside edge.
I checked the pressure plate faces with a straight edge and the amount of taper was immediately visible - one complete clutch assembly later and all is good (with the clutch at east)

Slowly taking apart things and making inspections
Clutch pushrod:
These two marks are identical on the other side of the pushrod

This mark is only on one side

At least the splines still look good after ~3500 dry miles

A little bit of wear on the splines, near the back end but not too bad. It will go a few more rounds.

I just wish it would go 20k miles before needing a lube instead of 10k :dunno
