Title: Crankcase vent hose routing
Post by: Fossil on July 10, 2012, 04:48:44 PM
What is the correct routing of the hoses to and from the air box. I have one coming from a fitting at the top front of crankcase (next to coolant connection). Does this connect to the vacuum manifold running behind TB? How is the hose fitting at the top rear connected to the air box? Does it enter and connect with air/oil separator? This bike does not have many "stock" connections left. Thanks for any help you can provide.

At the front upper half of the air filter housing you got two outlet stubs from the cyclonic separator.
Air return goes to the rubber manifold, and oil return goes to the fitting at the crankcase.
The hoses got different dimensions, to avoid interchange.

The hose at the rear of the air filter housing is the inlet to the cyclonic separator.
