Title: Oil on breather hose (side of block too)
Post by: sh00ter on July 03, 2012, 01:54:38 PM
hey all -  I am guessing the oily mess here is from the breather tube on the airbox.

If it is oily, I assume that means I have a leak in it?  How painful is it to replace and where's the other end live?

where's the other end live?

Connected to the cyclonic oil separator, inside the top half of the air filter housing.
Have a look in this (http://k100rt.aforumfree.com/t3842-k100rs-breather-hose-replace) thread.

Waiting for a bunch of hoses on back order for when I do mine. Also figured it was best to do all my hoses while I'm in there so I don't have to do it again later. From what I've learned about replacing all this from Inge, Frankenduck, Mystic, GITH and others :hail:, it's a bit tricky plus getting the air box out for access is like birthing a small child, so lube up that baby up!!!
