Title: rear brake
Post by: neo on June 21, 2012, 03:06:59 PM
hi all, installed the clutch today, what a job!!! but its in and works  When i removed the right hand foortest i noticed the flexi brake hose form the resevoir to the master cilinder was rather buggered, so i replaced it, now i cant get any pressure on the rear brake, i have tried to bleed the modulator first but its a poxy procedure and i only just manage to get some pressure but its hardly adtquate for riding,

any tips would be great

many thanks

oh yeah the clutch installation and rebuild took me almost 6hrs!!! :yow

Ya hafta keep after the bleed. There's a bubble or three in there and sometimes it takes a while to force them out. If you can't force them down and out the bleed nipple you can try a big ass syringe attached to the bleed nipple and push them out thru the master cylinder.

Squeeze the tube from the master to the reservoir to get any bubbles out of that line.
