I replaced the engine to clutch seal and o-ring along with new clutch about 500 miles ago. However now I am getting oil migrating down the push rod shaft to center of clutch. When I took the boot off the push rod a lot of oil came out (1/2 to 3/4 cup). I understand there needs to be oil to lube bearing set at rear end of push rod, but should it be submerged? Is there a drain port back to tranny basin somewhere? I plan on replacing the push rod seal, but am concerned about of quantity of oil behind the boot! Any comments appreciated.

Quite normal with oil in that spot, did recently post a drawing in your thread at k11og forum.
A bit easier to understand, when you see how this and that is placed in relation to each other......I think.

That seal at the back of the pushrod can be a PITA to get out as it is in there VERY tight.
Use a socket of just about the same diameter to pound the new one in.
