I've done the spacer thing, and the Laminar Lip.
The lip helps some, but not a lot. The time I really noticed a difference was after using the lip for a couple of months, then spent a couple of days with it off, because the adhesive had failed on a couple of the mounting buttons. I noticde more noise and wind pressure than I had gotten used to with it.
The spacers help slightly, but aren't a magic bullet either.
I've seriously considered cutting the windscreen in half, but I'd rather buy a used one to try that on than cutting up the current one.

Totally late on this thread, but...
Here is another option for the K75S http://www.parabellum.com/stores/showdetl.cfm?&DID=22&Product_ID=5&CATID=3 (http://www.parabellum.com/stores/showdetl.cfm?&DID=22&Product_ID=5&CATID=3)
Definitely fuglier than the Aeroflow, but it would be nice for touring!
GREAT aerodynamics on the Scout, almost a clone of the R 100 RS fairing/shield design but a little more rounded on the edges.
With any aftermarket screen on a K75s, beware of the mount screw-holders. I had a Parabellum pull out at highway speed and flip over my head. The mounts are not designed to take the added pressure of a taller shield. I wound up using nylon license plate fasteners on my current Aeroflow, larger and more robust than the BMW ones.I used bigger and longer screws, and that's why I went with the 19, I didn't want to push my luck.
(and the Aeroflow beats the Parabellum in looks, function and no need for bar-ends)
